Adelaide Oval

THE OVAL

The Adelaide Oval is considered to be one of the most picturesque sporting grounds in Australia, if not the world, with a rich history dating back to 1871.

Martins designed the new brand identity and rolled it out across the site including marketing collateral, signage, wayfinding, uniforms, exhibitions and displays.

SANFL

With the return of football to the Adelaide Oval in 2014 Martins designed and developed a suite of football displays and exhibitions for the redeveloped Oval in close collaboration with the SANFL and the Stadium Management Authority.

 

VISITOR CENTRE

Located in the Main Entry Plaza to the Riverbank Stand The Adelaide Oval Visitor Centre provides visitors with an overview of the newly developed Oval, its history and facilities before setting off on a guided tour. 

In the centre of the space is a model of the oval produced by University of Adelaide students using 3D printing technology and a touchscreen display. Visitors also get to view a short video about the history of the Oval on a large video wall as well as a display of Oval memorabilia. Martins designed and developed the various displays for the centre in collaboration with specialist suppliers.
